Rare Break Light
Key Features
Automatic Brake Detection: Integrated brake sensor detects when you’re slowing or stopping and significantly increases brightness to alert other road users. Fasoni
Ambient Light Sensor: Adjusts brightness based on surrounding light conditions, so it’s not too bright at night and still visible in daylight. Fasoni
Four Light Modes:
Constant (steady) light
Flashing
Pulsing (“intelligent” mode)
Smart / automatic mode (changes depending on environment) Fasoni
Weather Resistant: Rated IPX4, making it splash-proof and suitable for typical UK weather. Fasoni
Mounting Options: Can be mounted under the saddle or on the seat‑post. Installation is tool-free and designed to be easy. Fasoni
Battery / Power: Rechargeable via USB. Fasoni
Material & Build: Made from durable ABS plastic + aluminum, giving a robust but lightweight finish. Fasoni
Brightness: Up to ~50 lumens. Fasoni
Dimensions & Weight
Very compact design, making it discreet under the saddle or on the seat post. (Exact weight isn’t listed in the source.) Fasoni
Lightweight due to its mixed-material construction (ABS + aluminium). Fasoni
Safety & Visibility
Because of the brake-sensing feature, the light becomes significantly brighter when you hit the brakes, improving safety by clearly signalling deceleration. Fasoni
The ambient sensor helps make it adaptive: more visible in bright conditions, but not distracting at night. Fasoni
The 4 lighting modes cover a range of riding scenarios — commuting, urban, night rides, etc. Fasoni
Durability
IPX4 rating means it’s protected against splashes from any direction — suitable for rain, but not for full submersion. Fasoni
Robust housing combining plastic and metal keeps it resilient under typical riding conditions. Fasoni
Use Cases / Ideal For
Daily commuting — great visibility and automatic brake signalling make it ideal for urban riders.
Evening rides — adaptive brightness helps visibility without blinding.
Longer rides — USB recharge means no need for frequent battery swaps.
Riders who want a compact, clean look: the slim design fits neatly under the saddle or on a seat post.
