Watts & Wheels Team Structure and System Overview
Watts & Wheels works on a three-person leadership system wherein each role holds a different area of responsibility, which keeps the business efficient, compliant, and customer-oriented.
The structure is designed in such a manner that every core function—sales, engineering, and finance—has a dedicated lead.
While all decisions flow through a shared process in order to maintain accuracy and accountability.

Sales, Marketing & Customer Engagement Lead
This is the role that drives the outward-facing side of the business. This includes managing social media, building the brand, customer communication, and pushing sales.
This person is responsible for the marketing strategy, creation of content, community engagement, and customer growth.
The business relies on this role to generate demand, keep the product visible, and make sure the brand is consistent across all channels.

Engineering, Builds & Technical Development Lead
This position covers all technical aspects of the business, such as bike builds, quality control, product improvement, and technical problem-solving.
Its responsibilities include ensuring each and every electric bike meets performance, safety, and compliance standards.
This function is critical for maintaining product reliability, fulfilling customer orders, and developing new models or upgrades that strengthen the Watts & Wheels offering.

Finance, Compliance & Operational Control Lead
This role oversees the complete financial system: bookkeeping, payment, revenue tracking, cost control, and financial compliance.
It will make sure that the business complies with all the obligations towards HMRC, VAT, and corporate ones.
The job also involves maintaining documentation, internal approvals, and the confirmation process to keep the workflow accurate and auditable.

How the System Works Together

Shared Confirmation System
Every financial action taken, whether in deposits, transfers, pot updates, or customer payments, needs to be documented in the “W&W Finance Confirmations” group.
his helps give transparency and avoids miscommunication. All members update within one hour, with urgent matters followed up by summaries for keeping records consistent.​

Integrated Workflow
Sales gather customer demand and relay requirements.
Engineering manufactures and finishes bikes according to exact specification.
Finance follows through in recording the order, confirming payment, and ascertaining legality.
This is done with every order; it keeps the business organized and minimizes mistakes.

Mutual Accountability
The system is designed so that no single role can operate without the others:
Sales is dependent on accurate builds and financial clarity.
Engineering requires confirmed payments in addition to precise customer requests.
Finance depends upon real-time updates with regard to both sales and engineering. Each role reinforces the other in a balanced, efficient structure where decisions are shared and all information remains centralized.
